Background:A while ago there was a blog that focused on a lack of Sour Cream and Onion chips in the Chickahominy school cafeteria. This project was later shut down-not because the participants were in trouble, but because the reason behind all the chaos was explained. Apparently, all kinds of snack food companies try to bargain with schools on a good bulk buying price-something that Frito-Lay didn't offer for the Sour Cream and Onion chips.
After that, though, more movements and protests sprang up about an unfair assigned seating chart, and some of us got an idea.
What if there was a site where kids could make posts about issues, and raise awareness about movements?
That's what this site is for-to post information about injustices and issues at Chickahominy Middle School-from the student's perspective!

How to Become A Blogger
Blogger has an option where you can invite up to 100 authors to post to your blog. You can be one of those 100 authors! The requirements: you must attend Chickahominy, and you must have a Gmail.
If you can meet that, shoot an email to standagainstsnapz@yahoo.com-make sure the subject line is "I Want My Voice To Be Heard!" Then, type a couple of sentences about the issue or problem that you will be blogging about. Also, include your email. If I decide that your idea is appropriate, I will add your email to the list of people who are allowed to post here, and you should receive a confirmation email stating that you are allowed to post!
Rules of Posting:
1. No rude comments or language. Although we can get angry about some things, we should try to control it....
2. No names, please. Privacy is important. Use a code name or a first/last initial unless you have permission from the person you are mentioning.
3. Nothing inappropriate or off-topic is allowed under any circumstances! This includes photos and videos.
4. No spam-this includes on the comments page.
5. Failure to comply with these rules the first time will result in a warning, the second, a ban from posting, the third, banned forever. "Resistance is futile."
6. Please try to use good grammar. If you don't, then somebody will correct it. Hopefully.
